Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He began his career with performances in television shows including Opposite Sex in the year 2000. Following his appearance in a variety of teenage films, like Not Another Teen Movie in 2001, Evans became famous for portraying the Marvel Comics Character the Human Torch. Evans also appeared in the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). In a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe film, such as Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2017) and Captain America: Civil War (2017) as well as in the group films like The Avengers Age of Ultron (2017) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2009) and Endgame (2009). His portrayal of Steve Rogers/Captain America earned him more recognition. The Marvel films made him one of the most highly paid Hollywood actors.
