Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her best-known roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. After her parents divorced, they moved together with their mother in Los Angeles. In the midst of financial hardship, she got her first role as Rachel's Room's main character the video on-demand series Rachel's Room in 2001. In 2002 she was nominated for an Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. In 2004, Grace was chosen to play Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost on which she was a main actor for the first two seasons. She was also awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast. Grace was forced to quit the series to focus on her professional film work. The actress had been on the show with Tom Welling opposite in The Fog earlier in the year 2005. The actress has also appeared on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and in Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. The role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace was back on the Lost series in the final two episodes as Shannon. The year was 2013, and she was a guest in the sixth episode of Californication. The actress portrays Faith as a female groupie and is also a model stars. Hank Moody is played by David Duchovny. As a part of the Gyllenhaal Family, she's the daughter and older sister to actor Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as an early teenager, when she appeared in small role in films made by her father. In addition, she was a part of her brother on the 2001 famous movie Donnie Darko. Her next roles were in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, as well as Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance in the romantic erotic comedy drama Secretary (2002) as well as the drama Sherrybaby (2006) both of which resulted in a Golden Globe Award nomination. Gyllenhaal debuted as a director and writer in 2021, with the psycho-drama The Lost Daughter. For this movie, she received the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and received nominations for the Academy Award.
